When I tell people what I do for a living, they often assume that I spend the summer months wishing I could split myself into 3 as I am so busy (not an incorrect assumption) and the winter with my feet up (not so correct!). Although it goes without saying that the winter months do offer me a little break from the 'main wedding season' craziness, I still have the pleasure of covering some gorgeous weddings!
Nick and Marsha got married at Birmingham Registry Office in February and their reception followed at the impressive Opus Restaurant in the city centre. Being a country girl at heart and living on the outskirts of Worcestershire, urban weddings are not as common for me than the countryside locations - it definitely makes me work harder to think outside the box for creative shots! However, I absolutely loved spending the day with this fantastic couple - their day was filled with laughter and colour and it was a pleasure to be part of it. Here are a few shots from the day...
